D.J. Ross

I’m DJ Ross, a graphic designer from the Panhandle of Texas with a BFA in Communication Design from Texas State University. At my core, I’m an artist—I’ve always been drawn to the past, from old cartoons to the bold aesthetics of
the 70s through the 90s, and I love using those influences to create something fresh. Whether painting, illustrating, or building digital collages in Photoshop, my work is all about pushing culture forward while honoring where we’ve been. Design, to me, is about breaking boundaries, telling stories, and making an impact. I’m a huge music lover—funk and R&B, especially—and a film and TV nerd, and I love to travel and be part of my community. Collaboration fuels me, and I’m always looking for ways to uplift diverse voices, spark conversation, and bring people together
through design.
